I'm a research fellow within the ARC Research Hub for Smart Fertilisers at the University of Melbourne. I completed my Bachelor of Advanced Science (Hons, 1st class) at the University of New South Wales, majoring in molecular biology and microbiology. My PhD at Monash University focused around characterising the determinants of atmospheric gas scavenging in environmental bacterial; both attempting to uncover which phyla are responsible for this phenomenon and to understand the biochemical processes that underpin their persistence off atmospheric gases.
